Finding your way around the workspace

A quick look at where everything sits on screen: your current sheet size and live price in the top right, Auto Build and spacing controls in the top toolbar, your uploaded files on the left, the inch-ruled sheet in the center, and layer quality dots on the right.

  1. Top bar & toolbar: menus on the left, live sheet price on the right, plus undo, background preview color, Auto Build, and cut gap in inches.
  2. Left & center: upload files or add text on the left, then place them on the sheet using the inch rulers along the edges.
  3. Right & bottom: check the colored print-quality dot for each layer on the right, and switch dark mode, 18 languages, or zoom along the bottom.

Quick tour of the workspace so you know where everything lives. Across the top: menus for File, Edit, Selection, View, Arrange, Tools, and Help, and on the right, your current sheet size and the Add to Cart button with the live price. Just below is the toolbar: undo and redo, sheet background color so you can preview white or dark designs, Auto Build, Auto Arrange, and the gap between designs in inches. On the left is your upload library. Drop files here, add text, or browse your saved designs. In the middle is the sheet itself, with inch rulers along the edges so you always see the real print size. On the right is the layers list. Every image on the sheet shows up here with a colored dot for print quality, plus size and image tools when you click one. And along the bottom: dark mode, eighteen languages, grid, zoom, Fit to screen, and Save.

Uploading files and checking resolution

Drag your files onto the left panel or click Upload Images. The builder accepts PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, TIFF, PDF, and Illustrator files, checks their print resolution automatically, and gives you a one-click Improve button if an image is too small for the print size.

  1. Drop PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, TIFF, PDF, or AI files into the left upload panel.
  2. Click any thumbnail in your library to place it onto the sheet.
  3. If a low-resolution warning badge appears on a card, click Improve to sharpen it.
Written transcript

To add your artwork, drag files onto the left panel or click Upload Images. PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG, TIFF, PDF, and Illustrator files all work. Each upload lands in your library and gets checked for print quality automatically. Click any image to place it on the sheet. If a file is low resolution for the size you want, you will see a small warning badge and a one-click Improve button right on the card.

Packing a sheet automatically with Auto Build

Instead of dragging and rotating copies by hand, open Auto Build, type the width or height in inches and the quantity for each graphic, and let the builder calculate the most cost-effective sheet combination.

  1. Click Auto Build in the top toolbar and enter the width or height (in inches) and copy count for each design.
  2. Need the same logo in chest, youth, and hat sizes? Click "+ Add size" on the card to enter multiple sizes from one upload.
  3. Set your margin between designs at the bottom, press Auto Build to see the recommended sheet and total price, and click Confirm.
Written transcript

Auto Build is the fastest way to pack a sheet. Click Auto Build in the top toolbar. Your uploaded images are already here, or you can drop more in. On each card, type the width or height in inches (the lock icon keeps proportions so nothing stretches) and set how many copies you need. Need the same logo in chest size, youth size, and hat size? Click Add size on the card and give each size its own quantity. Set your margin between designs at the bottom, then press Auto Build. It picks the sheet combination that fits everything at the best price, shows you the plan and total, and when you click Confirm your packed sheet is ready on the canvas.

Removing backgrounds, knocking out colors, and sharpening

  1. Remove Background: strips out a flat background in one click, with edge sliders and a keep/erase brush for touch-ups.
  2. Targeted Color Knockout: click any color inside the image to remove just that shade and adjust the similarity slider.
  3. Smart Enhance: sharpens and upscales low-DPI artwork by 2x or 4x and previews the new DPI before you apply.
Written transcript

Need to clean up an image first? Click it on the sheet and look at Image Tools on the right. Remove Background strips out a flat background in one click, with edge controls and a keep-or-erase brush if you want to touch anything up. Targeted Color Knockout lets you click any color in the image to remove just that shade, with a similarity slider for control. Applying halftones for fades and vintage prints

Soft fades and drop shadows print cleaner and feel lighter on a shirt when converted into halftone dots. Pick a preset in Halftone Tools, compare it against your original file, or customize dot settings for your garment color.

  1. Open Halftone Tools and pick Clean DTF, Soft Vintage, Bold Graphic, or Retro Newsprint.
  2. Toggle Compare original to inspect the dot pattern up close.
  3. Open Customize if you want to adjust dot regions, garment color, or ink style.
Written transcript

For designs with fades, shadows, or a vintage look, open Halftone Tools. Pick a preset: Clean DTF, Soft Vintage, Bold Graphic, or Retro Newsprint, and toggle Compare original to see the difference up close. Open Customize if you want to tune which regions turn into dots, match your garment color, or adjust the ink style. Halftones give you softer, more breathable prints that use less white ink.
