Sample DTF transfers before bulk order approval is the cheapest insurance a shop or event buyer can buy. One wash test on your fabric and press catches peel timing, color shift, and sizing mistakes before they multiply across hundreds of pieces.
What to test on a sample sheet
Press on the exact blank you plan to sell. Include a small text block and a solid fill in the art so you can see edge adhesion and white underbase. Wash once on a normal cycle. Stretch the print. Note temperature, time, and pressure on the sample tag.
When to reorder samples
Run a new sample when you change film supplier, switch from cotton to poly blend, or add a new press. Seasonal reorders on the same SKU can skip re-sampling only if your logged settings and supplier lot stayed the same.

How to choose a DTF transfer supplier
Bulk gang sheets should use the same approved art file as the sample. If the customer changes size after sampling, treat it as a new test.
