DTF transfer peeling edges are the most common finish defect after a good-looking print on film. The center sticks while corners lift. That pattern usually points to pressure, peel timing, or pressing over seams rather than bad ink.
Edge peel right after the press
If edges lift before wash, add pressure or time in small steps. Pre-press the garment to remove moisture. Use a pillow on zippers and buttons so the transfer contacts flat fabric. Match cold peel vs hot peel to the film label.

When a DTF transfer is not sticking after laundry, the press was likely too cool or too short for that fabric blend. Polyester blends need tested settings separate from cotton. Re-press a failed sample with five extra seconds before you blame the film lot.
Film and storage checks
Old film or humid storage can weaken adhesive at the edges. Keep rolls sealed and note supplier lot on the job ticket. If one lot fails while others pass, contact the supplier with photos and your logged press settings.
